Dan Finn COACHING EXPERIENCE

Dan spent 2016 as the Offensive Coordinator and Running Backs coach at Snow College in Dixie, UT. Snow finished 6-2 overall while averaging over 32 points per game.

Finn coached the offensvie line at UC Davis in 2014 & 2015.

Two of his lineman earned All-Big Sky recognition in 2014. Left tackle Ian Joseph, who started all 45 games of his Aggie career, was named to the first team while Parker Smith, who moves over to Joseph's spot for the 2015 season, was named honorable mention. Behind Finn's coaching, UC Davis' offensive line helped Gabe Manzanares go over 2,000 career yards in 2014 on his way to All-Big third-team honors.

At Utah, Finn coached a second-team all-conference lineman, helping senior Sam Brenner make a successful switch from right guard to left tackle. Two Ute offensive linemen earned honorable mention All-Pac-12 honors in 2012--senior Tevita Stevens and true freshman Jeremiah Poutasi. Brenner (Miami Dolphins) and Stevens (Washington Redskins) were both signed as undrafted free agents.

Finn's line blocked for 1,000-yard rusher John White (1,041 net yards) and finished in the upper half of the league in sacks allowed per game (2.08).

During his first stint with the Utes, he helped coach first-team all-Mountain West Conference offensive linemen Jesse Boone and Tavo Tupola.

In his only season at San Diego State, Finn mentored 2011 first-team all-MWC tackle Tommy Draheim. The Aztecs finished with an 8-5 record and played in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.

He went to SDSU after four years at Idaho (2007-10), where he coached two all-Western Athletic Conference players, including 2010 first-round NFL draft pick Mike Iupati. As a senior in 2009, Iupati was a consensus All-American and Outland Trophy finalist. Idaho played in the 2009 Humanitarian Bowl, beating Bowling Green.

Finn began his coaching career at Mesa Community College in 2002, working with the defensive line. He spent the 2003 season as the defensive coordinator at Phoenix College. He accepted a graduate assistant position with Southern Utah in 2004 and oversaw the centers and guards.
