J. AGGABAO

COACHING EXPERIENCE 
​​J. Aggabao completed his second season as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Toronto Argonauts in 2018.  Aggabao returned to Toronto after helping them win the 105th Grey Cup in 2017.

Prior to joining the Argonauts, he served as the assistant strength & conditioning coach of the Los Angeles Rams, following the organization's move from St. Louis. Aggabao served as a seasonal intern strength & conditioning coach with the St. Louis Rams in 2013 before joining the staff full-time.

Prior to his arrival in St. Louis, Aggabao served as a strength & conditioning graduate assistant coach at Illinois State University from 2011-13.

He arrived in Bloomington, Ill. after serving as an intern strength & conditioning coach at Washington State University in 2010-11. Aggabao also worked as a student assistant strength & conditioning coach while completing his undergraduate degree at WSU. 

EDUCATION 
Aggabao holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology – Majoring in Movement Studies from Washington State University.

In 2013, he earned a Master’s of Science in Exercise Physiology from Illinois State University.

He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a USA Weightlifting Certified Sports Performance Coach (USAW).

PERSONAL 
A native of Talofofo, Guam, Aggabao is a U.S. Navy veteran who served from 2002-2007.  Among his accomplishes during his time in service, Aggabao earned the Navy and Marine Corps Acievement Medal (2006), Navy and Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal (2005), was named the Distinguished Graduate, USAF Air Education and Training Command ranking #1 of 30 (2002), and earned the Military Excellence Award, ranking #1 out of 798 recruits in his graduating class (2002).
